L’American Society for Quality (ASQ)
L'ASQ a des relations avec 15 organisations sans but lucratif dans le monde (NQI Canada, Hong Kong Society of Quality, Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers, Singapore Quality Institute…), des alliances stratégiques avec des organisations comme la « China Association for Quality », la « Federation Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry », le « Dubai Institute for Human Resources Development »…
De plus, l'ASQ fait des interventions auprès du Congrès américain et d’agences gouvernementales en matière de qualité, de responsabilité sociale, d’audit financier, de politique de santé publique, de prix Baldridge (administré depuis 1991).
L'Université Lean Six Sigma a passé des accords avec l'ASQ afin de devenir un partenaire privilégié en France. L'UL6S est ainsi devenu un centre d'examen pour l'obtention de certification de compétences ASQ.
Les certifications de compétences de l'ASQ sont mondialement reconnues pour lerus niveaux d'exigences.
Les référentiels de l'ASQ :
- Six Sigma Green Belt (en abrégé : SSGB)
- Six Sigma Black Belt (en abrégé SSBB)
- S'être acquitté du prix de l'examen (moins cher pour les membres de l'ASQ),
- Avoir passé avec succès son examen dans le centre choisi (Paris ou Grenoble) par l'UL6S,
- Réaliser un dossier de candidature incluant si l'on dispose d'un diplôme universitaire ou d'une école d'ingénieurs, les postes, les employeurs, les périodes,
- Disposer de trois années d'expérience professionnelle (pour un Green Belt),
- Avoir réalisé deux projets avec attestations signées ou un projet avec attestation signée + trois années d'expérience professionnelle, sans diplôme requis (pour un Black Belt),
- Avoir signé le code éthique de l'ASQ.
Les examens de contrôle des connaissances
Une partie importante pour l'obtention d'unecertification ASQ est basée sur un contrôle des connaissances : un examen complet, en anglais, est réalisé par le candidat en ligne dans le centre d'examen de l'UL6S.
Le niveau de connaissances est très élevé. Les tests balaient de très nombreux domaines : qualité, gestion de production, statistiques, méthodologies d'amélioration des performances.
